These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, treatments, training programs, and website operated by Cindy Choe Studio & Academy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment, enrolling in a course, or using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

1. Services Provided

We offer the following services:

  • Permanent makeup procedures (e.g., microblading, lip blush, eyeliner tattoo, beauty marks, hairline restoration)

  • Cosmetic tattooing corrections and touch-ups

  • Private and group training courses in cosmetic tattooing techniques

All services are provided by licensed and certified professionals in accordance with California state regulations.

2. Appointment Policy

2.1 Booking

  • All appointments must be booked in advance through our website, phone, or approved third-party platforms.

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your time slot.

2.2 Cancellations

  • We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of deposit and/or additional charges.

2.3 Arrival

  • Clients should arrive 10 minutes early. Late arrivals may result in reduced service time or cancellation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to receive services. Certain treatments may be restricted or denied based on:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status

  • Medical history or current health conditions

  • Active infections, open wounds, or skin sensitivities

A consultation and consent form are required prior to all permanent makeup procedures.

4. Payment Terms

  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and select digital wallets.

  • Full payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled within the allowed timeframe (see Section 2).

All prices are subject to change without notice.

5. Results Disclaimer

Individual results vary based on skin type, health, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare instructions. While we strive for high-quality outcomes:

  • No guarantees are made regarding specific results

  • Additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results

  • Fading, color changes, or asymmetry may occur naturally over time

Clients acknowledge these risks when undergoing services.

6. Training & Academy Terms

6.1 Enrollment

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in a training program.

  • Final tuition payment is due before or on the first day of class.

6.2 Certification

  • Students receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful participation in all class modules.

  • Completion does not guarantee licensure; students are responsible for meeting their state’s licensing requirements.

6.3 Refund Policy

  • All tuition payments are non-refundable. Exceptions may be considered under rare and documented circumstances.

6.4 Code of Conduct

  • Students must maintain professionalism and respect during training. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All training materials, branding, content, and visuals shared by Cindy Choe Studio & Academy are the intellectual property of the business and may not be:

  • Reproduced, copied, or distributed without written permission

  • Used for resale, derivative training, or commercial redistribution

Violators may face legal action.

8. Medical Disclaimer

We are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice. All procedures are cosmetic in nature. Clients are advised to consult with their physician if they have underlying medical concerns that may interfere with the procedure or healing process.

9. Liability Waiver

By receiving services or enrolling in training, you agree to:

  • Release Cindy Choe Studio & Academy from liability related to treatment outcomes, allergic reactions, or procedural complications

  • Assume full responsibility for following all pre- and post-care instructions

  • Acknowledge that treatment outcomes are subject to natural biological variation

You must sign a physical or digital consent form prior to any cosmetic tattooing procedure.

10. Website Usage

Your use of our website (www.cindychoestudio.com) is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful or harmful purposes

  • Attempt to hack, interfere with, or disable website functionality

  • Republish or misuse content without permission

We reserve the right to restrict or revoke access at any time.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services or site constitutes acceptance of any updates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
